DHYG 326 Oral Radiology II
Lecture, laboratory, and clinical activities aid students to use descriptive terminology and radiographic concepts to identify normal and abnormal anatomic structures seen on periapical, panoramic and extra oral radiographs (images); and identification of restorations; dental materials and foreign objects; dental caries; periodontal disease; trauma, pulpal and periapical lesions. Students gain competency in exposing, assessing and interpreting diagnostic quality radiographs (images). Students manage patients with diverse radiographic needs to help provide comprehensive patient care.
