I. Access Clinic Applications

  • Register Your Device!
    • Bring your device to the OIT Office to
  • VPN Configuration and Connection
    • To connect to VPN for the first time:
      • For Windows 8 Devices, first go to
  • DentalApps/WebApps Connection (Axium)
    • For Windows 8 Devices, first go to the

      Note- First time users will get a VBScript error message, click

    • Click on the large green Connect button.
    • You may recieve some VPN connection prompts. Click OK. Type
    • Click on Axium Live to log into Axium.

    Access to Axium is limited in the overnight range-11pm to 6am Axium will be down.

  • Disconnection
    • To disconnect from the VPN, right-click on the green

II. Access Patient Chart

    • Ask student/resident to Axium Message you after they have

If all non-VISIT ERP forms and Treatment performed during the visit were not approved, approve before review/approval of VISIT form.

    NOTE: The local administrator account on the Mac has a password assigned. If necessary,

    NOTE: The Mac OS does not include a Remote Desktop program by default. One must be installed to allow remote connections from the Macintosh to SOD resources.

    • Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 includes a Remote Desktop Connection app. During installation

    • To connect to VPN after the first time (already downloaded):
      • Click the green and blue orb icon in on the dock.

    • To disconnect from the VPN, right-click on the green and blue orb icon in the bottom-right and select Disconnect.

II. Access Patient Chart

    • Ask student/resident to Axium Message you after they have finished the Visit Form with the patient chart numbers.

III. Approve EPR Visit Form → Progress Note

If all non-VISIT ERP forms and Treatment performed during the visit were not approved, approve before review/approval of VISIT form.
